Ursuline Academy with Doves. The doves and pidgeons cooing under the eaves above in this local scene of a former catholic girls' school, Ursuline Academy, in Arcadia, Missouri, reminded me of the bird-woman seated on the steps of St. Paul's Cathedral in London singing, "Feed the Birds, Tuppence a Bag" in the Disney film, Mary Poppins. Painted on location summers 2011 and 2012, adding the student girls lower left and Sister low center as they might have appeared during classes fifty+ years ago. Original painting is 21" x 29", for sale unframed, $3900. Available in print sizes to 27" x 36".
