Hostas in the Forest. The beautiful foliage of Hostas comes in many varieties. I stumbled across this scene while walking in the forest -- one of the few times I had a camera with me. So I used the photograph to paint this as a public demonstration for the local Artists Studio, taking four sessions to complete -- painting a layer, leaving it to dry and moving on to another painting. Watercolor, 7" x 11", for sale unframed, $325. Available in print sizes to 24" x 36".
